Housing Associations & ABAs / ASBOsDo any Housing Associations, working with local police, serve A.B.A.'s or A.S.B.O.'s on their tenants? Or is the information passed to the Antisocial Behaviour Coordinator (Count Council) to follow through as we currently do? If yes could you supply me with information on the process used. Re: Housing Associations & ABAs / ASBOsHi john, we have just set up a working protocol with the council and police linked in to our monthly ASB meetings, The procedure should one of our housing officers want to do an ABC, is to write out the ABC and send to me and the council ASB officer. we then arrange the multi agency meeting with the perpetraitor to come from the same direction on the ABC, Adult abcs are monitored and reviewed bi monthly , youth monthly. All ABCs are placed with positive interventions and we find this joined up approach works very well. The council ASB officer monitors the ABC as we were having the problem where one agency was doing one and never telling others, we now have set Youth clauses for ABcs which are SMART, these are also done with schools and YOT . The system although in its infancy is working well. |

Re: Housing Associations & ABAs / ASBOsThanks Ian, this what we have been looking for. Would it be possible to have a copy of the protocol and any further information you might have? John Phillips
