Hi,

I work with young offenders aged 16-18 in custody and already work with YMCA and NACRO with educational support.  However I am trying to find  positive examples of ex-women offenders who have become successful after release from custody. I would like to be able to motivate the young women by providing relevent examples of success which they can relate to.  Does anyone know of organisations who may be able to help?

Media for Development (Media House and Time TV), an educational media course and prisoner-made television channel which can be viewed by other prisoners in their cells at HMP Downview women's prison

Working Chance (Transitions for Women), organises voluntary work placements to help women prisoners into work. The project provides training and emotional support to help the transition, with the support starting while women are in prison and continuing after release.
