Gerard Lemos
Gerard leads the research team at Lemos&Crane. He is the author of several books and reports about social policy and supporting vulnerable people. His publications include Steadying the Ladder: Social and emotional aspirations of homeless and vulnerable people and The Communities We Have Lost and Can Regain (co-authored with Michael Young).
Gerard is also Chairman of the Lending Standards Board, the UK regulator of retail banking products, Chair of Iniva, Vice-President of the British Board of Film Classification, and a non-executive Director of the Crown Prosecution Service. He chaired the Board of Trustees of the British Council in 2009/10 having been a trustee since 1999 and Deputy Chair from 2005. He is also a visiting Professor at Chongqing Technology and Business University. Gerard has formerly been Chair of Akram Khan Dance Company, an Audit Commissioner and a Civil Service Commissioner. He received a CMG in the Queens' Birthday Honours List in 2001 for services to the British Council.
Paul Crane
Paul is co-founding partner and manages quality assurance and e-communications at Lemos&Crane. He is the author of two civil rights handbooks, a Cambridge University law graduate and a solicitor. As a lawyer he specialised in civil rights work; he acted in the landmark case taken to the European Court of Human Rights that led to the decriminalisation of homosexuality in Northern Ireland. Paul has worked in general and legal book publishing both as a commissioning editor and publisher. Prior to initiating web development ten years ago, he published over 50 books and reports at Lemos&Crane. Since 2005 Paul has been a Governor of Atlantic College.
Carwyn Gravell
Carwyn is a partner at Lemos&Crane, leading the sales team and with responsibility also for Lemos&Crane's conference programme and for developing new business opportunities. Carwyn is a philosophy graduate from Warwick University and also a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He has worked at Lemos&Crane since 1997.
Amy Dunnigan
Amy is the administrator for Lemos&Crane and is in charge of membership renewals and event bookings. She has a degree in Urban Studies from the University of Minnesota. Her past experience includes time at HomeBase, a law and social policy centre on homelessness, Anishinabe Wakiagun, a home for formerly homeless Native Americans, a year as a project worker for the Simon Community in London and as assistant food shelf coordinator at Branch Two. She began her career in administration as a receptionist for TVE (Television for the Environment) and was responsible for online and journal memberships at the Directory of Social Change before joining Lemos&Crane in 2005. Amy is also a volunteer advocate for Age Concern Camden.
Jan Hart
Jan is the accounts administrator at Lemos&Crane. After graduating in music followed by a short spell at BBC radio production she set up her own arts admin business in 1998 and subsequently moved sideways into bookkeeping. Since then she has built up a solid portfolio of clients and joined the team at Lemos&Crane in 2005. Outside bookkeeping she keeps a foot in the music camp by running her own classical record label.
Chris Haynes
Chris is a partner and the web developer and database administrator at Lemos&Crane. He is responsible for the infrastructure and technical development of all the company's web sites including in-house Content Management System and Contact Relationship Management software. His professional interests include building standards-compliant websites and open source software. He has a Masters degree in Engineering from Imperial College and has worked at Lemos&Crane since 2006.
Naomi Fathers
Naomi is a research assistant at Lemos&Crane. She has written for several websites including MoneyActionNet and PrisonerActionNet, and has produced media content for several others. Naomi has worked on research projects commissioned by charitable trusts and government departments, including CLINKS and the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts. Naomi has a degree in English from Goldsmiths, University of London. Her professional interests include the rehabilitation of ex-offenders into the community, supporting vulnerable young people, and using web 2.0. She has worked at Lemos&Crane since 2008.
Ellen Fryer
Ellen works in Membership Services at Lemos&Crane, promoting our online resources and providing information about our systems to new and subscribing members. She also provides introductory presentations for organisations, in particular to our eLearning training systems and the user-led support planning tool, BlueSalmon. Most of her work is telephone-based, providing guided inspections of our resources to interested practitioners. Ellen graduated from University College London (UCL) in 2008, and is now studying part-time for an MA in Translation Studies. She has worked at Lemos&Crane since 2008.
Roderick Kenny
Roderick works in the Membership Services Team. He promotes our online resources and gives guidance and assistance in their usage. He is also involved in the sales and promotion of our conferences. Roderick studied Politics with International Relations at the University of Bath, graduating in 2009 and joined Lemos&Crane the same year.
