The Fear and Fashion Awards are for outstanding examples of projects or casework that have proved successful in helping young people to stop carrying and using knives - for fear of attack or as a badge of belonging to a group or gang.
We received over 50 high-quality entries from a range of organisations.The awards were presented at the Lemos&Crane conference 'Helping Young People to Stop Carrying and Using Knives' on 1 October 2009.

A partnership between Kickz and the Home Office’s anti-knife crime campaign ‘It Doesn’t Have To Happen’ reaching over 1,300 young people.
Redthread Youth Ltd - Kings Emergency Adolescent Room
An innovative multi-disciplinary project providing a gateway enabling vulnerable young people who have experienced violence to access a wider range of services.
