Using magic skills to encourage learning

Hello there.

I am the webmaster for The Fellowship of Christian Magicians (UK)

We have a genuine free resources area on our web site which is being constantly added to.  It contains lots of genuine free resources which people can use in their teaching and other learning projects.

There is a large section on puppets and puppet theatres which are of use to encourage children and young people to express themselves.

There are also various stories and visual aids and simple magic tricks which can also be used to encourage students and which may be of use to teachers.  The web site address is www.fcmuk.org

We have also found that learning new skills such as basic sleight of hand is also good for dealing with anti social behaviour and also for stroke victims as it gives them more confidence as they very easily learn simple tricks.
