Toolkits

The toolkits in this section are for support workers to use directly with service users. Each toolkit contains materials for a series of discussions that get service users to think about their social and emotional aspirations in a structured way and to work out with their support worker action plans for fulfilling these aspirations.

Ideas

Innovative and award-winning ideas and approaches that will inspire you to develop and improve services – examples cover work with older people, homeless and vulnerable people, mental health, learning disability, prisoners and ex-offenders and young people at risk.

Themes include creativity and performance, nature, travel, sport and competition, reminiscence and reflection, partners, parents and siblings, extended family, friends, community, volunteering, home-making, money, work skills, health and fitness, self-image, literacy and numeracy, exhilaration and achievement, enterprise, socialising, and shopping.

This page shows the forum, where members can ask questions or post information about work they have been involved in.
